Frankfurt & Amsterdam Node Upgrades - Free Migrations for Existing Customers

Frankfurt & Amsterdam Node Upgrades - Free Migrations for Existing Customers

We have deployed brand-new, high-performance hardware in both Frankfurt and Amsterdam. As part of our commitment to keeping the fleet ahead of demand, existing customers can migrate to the upgraded nodes completely free of charge.

What changed

The new nodes bring faster CPUs and improved storage and networking. Newly provisioned servers in these regions land on the upgraded hardware automatically. Existing customers stay where they are until they ask to move - we never force a migration.

How to request a migration

Open a ticket and we will schedule it for you. To make the process smooth and safe, please include:

  • Your server IP
  • Your account email
  • Your invoice number

Crucially, take a backup of your data first. Migrations are routine, but a current backup is always the right precaution before any infrastructure change.

What to expect during the move

A migration involves a brief period of downtime while your VM is stopped, copied to the new node, and brought back online. We keep this window as short as possible and coordinate timing with you where needed. Your IP and configuration are preserved.

Why we do this

Hardware improves constantly. Rather than letting early customers languish on older nodes, we make upgrades available to everyone - free. It is the same philosophy behind our regular restocks: invest in the fleet before contention becomes a problem.
